The family of one of my high school classmate has been producing pickles near Gödöllő, more precisely in Galgahévíz, for several decades.
Our friendship remained even after the high school years and when we met from time to time, he always brought me some of the pickles they made. The taste was delicious and unusual, it can be said a little sweet, so the children also like to eat it.
In 2021, I thought that people living in the other regions should also get to know this great product.
In May of that year, my wife and I started selling products at the small market in Kesztölc under the name “Sovi Ubi”, which was a huge success in the village.
We currently sell 20 items range of products, from delicacies to snacks.
Our products include peppers, cucumbers, mixed cuts, coleslaw, stuffed pickles, beets, garlic and some specialties.
When they started building the new Esztergom Market, I already decided that I wanted to promote the product there, so that the healthy, tasty delicacy would reach everyone in the region.
I believe that local people living in Esztergom and other people from regions have been waiting for a cultured, easily accessible, wide-spectrum market to open for a long time.
Looking at the renters at the market, I see that there can be a very good community developed, which is worth visiting for people of all ages!
